Two Things Hard To Get: A Smile From a Communist Government Worker and Internet Connection In SE Asia

Greetings from Energetic Hanoi

Discovered I Could Sell Bananas In Hanoi

…And Picturesque Halong Bay…

…And the Ancient Capital Hue…

Fun dinner at Le Carambole, Hue, Vietnam

Today we visited Vietnam’s 12th Emporer’s Tomb and part of the ancient lore was that Buddha sucessfully converted assorted bad men to a protection squad, so to speak, and as such, they became Buddha’s guardians. An artist’s sculpture rendition of these characters were very interesting to look at and I discovered these depictions also could very well encompass my nine degrees of daily moods since retirement. For the very first time publicly shared, they are as follows:

Yawn & Stretch; Stretch & Yawn...saying hello to a new day.

Ho Hum...another beautiful and carefree day of retirement.

Waiting for the coffee to finish brewing...

Let's I wash the car or hose down the pool area???

Ok Peg, where did you hide my underware this time???

An hour to lunch and my chores are finished...what now???

YES...Yankees playing in the post-season!
