Child’s Play

This year I had the good fortune to spend just over three months in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts between July and October. Most of the time was spent in a rental house in the Town Of Sheffield. My two granddaughters, Simone and Giselle and their mother Margot flew up from Florida on vacation to spend some time with us. This picture is from that visit, and I think it is my favorite picture out of hundreds that were taken during the happy summer of 2013. I love the captured expressions of both granddaughters with the lucky addition of my wife laughing on the side over the silliness of that moment. I can’t think of too many things in life more enjoyable than watching, and sometimes lucky enough to participate in child’s play. It is for the young but it keeps us all young at heart.
